LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
For more than a decade, The Robloxian Christians actively served the Roblox community with live events and church services multiple times each week. But due to a number of factors, including Roblox limiting our searchability, our live event participation has dwindled. However, we believe that there is still work to be done on Roblox and that there is immense opportunity.
We are shifting how we do ministry at The Robloxian Christians, and we want you to be a part of this transformation.
WE WANT TO BUILD
We want to build a public, faith-based, social game that incorporates the most important aspects of our online church: Community, worship, prayer, and learning.
We envision this social game becoming the hub of our ministry on Roblox. It will invite those who proclaim Christ as Lord as well as those who do not into community and relationship with one another.
This game will replace our weekly live church services with a space for the members of our church to hangout, talk, pray, and worship at any time. Our staff and volunteers will shift their focus to cultivating a welcoming and safe environment in the game. We will hold monthly live worship services inside the game. As opposed to being held in a closed setting, we will enable the greater Roblox community to join us for worship and prayer monthly.
We see this as an opportunity to reach millions of young people with the love and word of God. The community that, we believe, will form around this social game will bring hope and light to a generation consumed with fear, anxiety, depression, and bullying.
COMMUNITY
We know that authentic community is at the heart of online ministry. Our game will incorporate the latest Roblox features to help accelerate relationship-building and courageous conversations. Some of these features include:

Spatial Voice Chat for users over 13, bubble chat for all players.

Integrations with The Robloxian Christians discord server.

Ice breaker-style minigames scattered throughout the game.

Map designed with conversations at the forefront with break-out rooms, open plazas, lounge spaces, and outdoor gardens.

Level system with achievable perks when players accomplish certain tasks.
WORSHIP
We believe that gathering – albeit virtually – to worship and praise God with one another is an essential aspect of our faith. The new game will host monthly worship events hosted by the staff and volunteers of The Robloxian Christians and will be open to the entire Roblox community.
These events will not only welcome new people into our community, but it will open an additional avenue for us to love our neighbors and put the word of God into action.

PRAYER
In eleven years on Roblox, so many different people have been a part of The Robloxian Christians. We have seen so many young people carrying so much burden. We believe that prayer is so important as we work to love our neighbors online. In the new game we plan to:

Train every volunteer so that they are equipped and confident to pray with anyone that asks of it.

Build integrations with our Roblox group and discord server so that prayer requests can be submitted and directed to our prayer team.

Create interactive challenges that encourage players to practice prayer and help build habits.

Develop meditative and reflective exercises to widen player's perspectives about prayer.

LEARNING
What makes this game inherently different from other social games on Roblox is that it is designed specifically for people that want to talk about faith. We don't hide that we are a multi-denominational Christian church. We want this new game to feature fun, interactive, and self-paced features that allow players to learn more about what it means to follow Christ and proclaim that He is Lord.

WE NEED YOUR HELP
We are all-in on creating this game. But we need your help with funding.
Since the beginning, our youth-led church has been entirely free for our young members meaning that all operational cost has been funded by the generosity of older folks that support our work.
We are hoping to raise $2,500 for the initial development of the game. Our hope is that after release, the game will become self-sustaining to cover operational costs, advertising, and future development.
